Definition of Shipping and Handling: Actual cost of shipping the package, the materials that the part or reel is packed in (the box, envelope or large padded envelope), the labor to pull the part, pack it, then take it to the post office. Also we are charged for the delivery of parts to our facility. These are costs of doing business.
All Fishing Reels shipped back to the customer will have a standard of $50.00 insurance purchased for that package. If you would not like insurance or even more insurance just email us with how much or add it to the Reel Repair Form. Our standard shipping is USPS Parcel Post or First Class Mail.
All Reels shipped to Alabama Reel Repair will have to be submitted through
our Reel Repair Form . Any reels received without this form will be returned to the

All E-Mail's will be answered within 72 hours. Include your "Name, Address, Phone Number and E-Mail Address with your E-Mail.
Insurance is always an option when shipping higher priced reels.
Please make sure that all reels are packed well in a tight fitting box or can and place a lot of insulation to protect against damage in shipping. Any damage that happens during shipping will be the customers responsibility. Alabama Reel Repair is not responsible for any shipping damage.

Repair of Reels:
All reels will be inspected for damaged or missing parts, then checked for functions of that reel.
Most reels that do not require parts are normally shipped back to the customer within
three working days not including weekends. Reels requiring parts will depend on the availability of the parts plus
7 days ship time which can add up to 17 work days. Please be patient and we will make sure that your reel is repaired correctly.

Shipping:
Shipping costs are very high today and probably most likely will not come down in the near future. It would behoove you to ship as many reels at one time and cut the shipping costs down. Shipping outside the United States: All shipping outside the U.S. will have a custom quote E-Mailed to the customer before shipping is authorized. Returning the E-mail will be the only way to authorize the shipment.
